Key features of the link are that it enables your VR dive computer to:-

                        · Record your cylinder pressure at the start and at the end of a dive
                        · Show your remaining cylinder pressure throughout the dive
                        · Calculate your breathing rate and allow you to see this during your dive
                        · Warn you if your breathing rate increases significantly
                        · Calculate how much dive time you have remaining
                        · Display dive time remaining in minutes and an easy-to-read bar graph
                        · Warn you when you reach the reserve pressure you have selected

It is wired system which connects the 7 pin I/O connector on the side of your VR computer with the high pressure port on the first stage of your regulator / demand valve via an electronic cable, NOT a hose. This means that it has the following advantages for the diver.

        · no additional batteries
        · no risk of electrical interference
        . no risk of interference from other dive computers
        . no gas lines; the intrinsically safe sensor connects DIRECTLY to the regulator first stage

Even when you only pay GO-Dive prices you don't want to lose pieces of kit like torches, so sometimes it is important to think of the smaller items like clips.

A really clever idea is the set of clips and extending lanyards from Audaxpro that have a built in safety whistle (link).

Only £12.95 for an extending lanyard that is kept in position with a quick release clip when you are not using it and has a metal snaplink to secure your expensive equipment and save it from getting lost whilst leaving your hands free - this has to be considered.
